Panaji: AAP MLA Venzy Viegas has managed to fetch much needed assurances from the state government.
After he raised the issue on the floor of the House on Thursday, Fisheries Minister Nilkant Halarnkar assured a fish drying platforms at Colva rate reduced from Rs 3,000 per year to Rs 1,000 per year.
The fuel subsidy for fishing trawlers is increased from 30000 litres to 50000 litres. New fisheries office to come up in Margao and after that VRC would be delivered in three months.
