AAP is B team of BJP, cannot talk on alliance with any party that will entertain defectors- GPCC President Girish Chodankar

Vasco: GPCC president Girish Chodankar on Tuesday said that BJP cannot fight the congress and hence had made teams with the likes of AAP in Goa.

Chodankar was speaking to reporters after attending a congress block meeting in Mormugao along with GPCC Vice President Sankalp Amonkar
Chodankar speaking to reporters expressed confidence that Congress would win the Mormugao constituency with a margin of over 2500 votes in the upcoming assembly elections
” AAP is engaging in a publicity stunt at the eve of elections and I wonder how AAP is celebrating the second anniversary of the defection of Congrss MLAs while they did not celebrate the first anniversary. AAP has been selective in giving cakes only to a few former congress MLAs. AAP has not given cakes to MGP defectors like Babu Azgaonkar and Deepak Pauskar .AAP is engaging in a drama to help the BJP and divert our issues like price rise ,fuel hike and other issues. They are also trying to eat up our votes to felicitate the victory of the BJP and in the past, they have contributed to the loss of our candidates including in Mormugao where the AAP candidate got around 267 votes and our candidate lost by 140 votes. BJP is making different teams to eat our votes because they cannot fight us one on one ” said Chodankar
Chodankar said that Congress had begun working on all 40 constituencies and that decioos on alliance would be taken by higher ups
Chodankar assured that in the future there will be no defection in the Cingress in the future
“We will not allow any of the defectors in the Cingress and we have already filed a disqualification petotuon against them. We have not begun taking on alliance as yet and it will be decided by central leadership after taking feedback on the sentiments of the people and conveyed to us . I can only say that any party wanting to have discussion with us should take care not to allow the entry of any of the Congress defector MLAs because we will not be able to even talk to them, forget the alliance ” said Chodankar
Meanwhile GPCC Vice President Sankalp Amonkar said that a meeting was organised to strengthen the Mormugao Congress block
” Our president Girish Chodankar has been moving across Goa and all constituencies to have such meeting to strengthen our blocks and adress issues in the constituencies. Chodamkar has briefed our workers on the nexr elections strategy and Chodankar has also requested us to have a state level protest program on fuel price rise in Vasco ” said Amonkar
