Alert locals of Korgao has helped Pernem police in nabbing a molestation case accused person.
As per PI Jivba Dalvi the victim lady had got down from bus and was proceeding to her residence on foot alone when the accused person followed her, caught hold of her mouth from behind and molested her physically.
However the alert locals of Korgao village immediately sensed the situation and intercepted the accused trying to flee, nabbed him and handed over him to the police.
The accused is identified as Mr. Rajnikant Bind N/o Bihar. He has been placed under arrest under sections 341, 354, 354-A and 354-D of IPC and is currently under police custody.
PI Dalvi has expressed his thankfulness to the Korgao villagers for their alertness and action.
