Margao, June 23, 2023 – The Taekwondo Association of Goa proudly announces the inauguration of the 29th Goa State Kyorugi & 9th Poomsae Taekwondo Championship 2023. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of MLA Margao and former Chief Minister Shri Digambar Kamat, who inaugurated the championship alongside the President of the Taekwondo Association of Goa, Navin Pai Raikar, Secretary General Rajan Naik, association members, coaches, and talented athletes.
During the opening ceremony, Shri Digambar Kamat declared the championship officially open, setting the stage for three days of intense competition and displays of Taekwondo expertise.
The championship is scheduled from June 23rd to June 25th, 2023, at the renowned Manohar Parrikar Stadium, situated in Navelim, Margao, Goa. This event holds immense significance for the Taekwondo Association of Goa as it aims to foster the spirit of Taekwondo and provide a platform for exceptionally skilled athletes to exhibit their talents. Participants from various age groups and weight categories will partake in exhilarating Kyorugi (sparring) battles and awe-inspiring Poomsae (forms) performances.
