Valpoi: Police have arrested 21-year-old man for kidnapping a minor girl from Nagargao village in Sattari after befriending her on the Facebook.
Dhana Kaskar was arrested after parents of the girl filed a formal complaint.
As per the information available, Kaskar, who is from Podecem village had made friendship with the girl over Facebook and both had later shared their mobile numbers.
On Friday, the accused came to the place of the victim and took her along to unknown place and did not return till evening. Since the girl did not return, parents filed missing complaint with Valpoi police station. The accused was later arrested.
