Sanguem: A woman and a child died after a car they were travelling plunged into a river Taricotto Sanguem on Monday night.
Fire and Emergency Department officials confirmed that body of a child and woman were removed from the damaged car which plunged in the river. Body of the woman was found on the steering wheel. Body of a child was found on the front seat.
A blue colour car (make of which is yet to be known) plunged in the river on Monday around 8.45 pm. Soon after the incident, Fire services had rushed to the rescue. The car was brought out from the bottom from the river by fire services.
