The Corporate Institute Relationship Cell (CIRC) of Agnel Institute of Technology and Design (AITD), Assagao had a tremendous placement season this year with over 122 job offers given to students of 3 branches run at AITD viz Computer, Electronics and Communications and Mechanical Engineering. The highest Package offered was 10.52 LPA with an average package of 4.5 LPA. “Every year 30-35 Industries conducts campus recruitment drives for AITD students via online/offline mode. Approximately 95-100 students get placement offers before they graduate from college. Some of the major companies that visited AITD campus for hiring were Persistent Systems Ltd, One Shield Software, TCS, Wipro, Zimetrics, HDSOFT, In-between Software, Srijan Capgemini, Appstrail, Coditas, Numino Labs, Umang Software, Buoyancy Consultants, Claysys, IBM, Tangentia, Remote Software Solutions, Godrej, Genora Infotech, Creative Capsule, SmartSoc Solutions. Apart from these companies students also got some job offers through off-campus hirings.
This year AITD has signed MoUs with Visteon, Kineco Kaman and Optel Group adding the tally of MoUs to a total of 30. MoUs are signed with an objective to foster relationships between Academia and Industry by exposing students to the recent trends in Industry and also providing them opportunities such as Internships, Industrial Visits and Experts.
