Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is likely to meet Archbishop of Goa and Daman Rev Filipe Neri Ferrao to explain him on Citizenship Amendement Act (CAA), a news report has suggested.
A news report on Times of India has quoted Sawant saying that he would be meeting Archbishop during next couple of days over CAA.
The meeting attains significance considering the press statement issued by Archbishop’s Palace asking central government to “unconditionally” and “immediately” revoke CAA.
Despite repeated attempts, www.goanewshub.com could not get through CM to confirm or deny the news. We would bring the update as and when we are able to connect to CM or anyone from his office.
