Ponda: BJP Goa President Damu Naik met Minister Ravi Naik at his office in Ponda on Thursday. The details of the meeting are yet to be known.
Sources claim that Damu Naik is working on bringing together all Bhandari community leaders under the party’s banner. The move follows a recent meeting of Bhandari community leaders with non-BJP forces, including GFP President Vijai Sardesai.
Damu has been making efforts to keep the flock together, as the delegation that met Sardesai included party leaders like Dayanand Mandrekar.
The meeting with Ravi Naik is seen as a step towards uniting the Bhandari community under the BJP’s flag.
