Ponda: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane won the hearts when he helped a family in distress at Ponda to move dead body to GMC. And he did it, immediately within minutes of approaching for the help.
MGP leader Dr Ketan Bhatikar narrated the incident on his Facebook page. Bhatikar wrote: Thanks #HealthMinister Vishwajeet Rane sir for all your timely help .
“Dead Body was lying down at ID hospital for last 6 hours. Family members were desperately trying and seeking for help to move it to GMC.”
“Only response they got from police officers , was Collector / Dy collector will come and they r busy with #meetings.”
“More then 6 hours and family was going through a #emotional and #painful torture…When I was contacted and understood the situation I called Health Minister #Vishwajeet Rane sir for which he did get back and assured that within 30 minutes some authority will b there to sort out said issue and as assured work was done.”
