Saleli: A prominent leader from Poriem assembly segment Vishwajit Krishnarao Rane joined Aam Admi Party in presence of party’s National Convener Arvind Kejriwal.
Hundreds of people were present during the event held on Tuesday at Saleli in Sattari taluka.
Despite rains, several people were present for the function held at Saleli. Party’s State convener Rahul Mahambre welcomed the people and asserted that the liberation of Goa from the oppressive ruler has already began.
Advocate Ganpat Gaonkar, who has recently joined AAP, said that the Sattari taluka is still reeling under poverty which is further increased due to the inflation in the state.
He said that the successful model of AAP government in Delhi could be replicated in the state by providing corruption free government.
