Pernem: Shamsunder Kerkar, a brother in law of Water Resources Department minister Vinod Palyekar today filed complaint with police for falsely implicating him in the matka raids at Pernem.
The complaint has been filed by Kerkar with Cyber Crime Police and also Pernem police after Facebook and Whatsapp posts claimed him to be the main accused in gambling.
“The news (social media post) has gone so viral that people in the locality have started asking me whether I am involved in the gambling. This has caused a lot of stress and mental agony to me and my family,” Kerkar has said in a complaint.
Kerkar has also submitted few mobile numbers which allegedly circulated the message against him linking him with the raid.
