Margao: Konkani video song “Shantai” was released on the occasion of magh jatra of Shree Shantadurga, Kavlem at Saunsthan premises at the hands of the President of the Devasthan Committee Shri. Triloknath Borkar and other committee members yesterday.
The song is written by Shri. John Aguiar, composed by Shri. Milind Sakhardande and sung by Sau. Annapurna Sakhardande.
The music is produced and arranged by Shri. Akshay Naik and it is recorded at Mahalsa Recording Studio, Savoi Verem.
The cinematography, Direction and video editing is done by Shri. Prashant Shirodkar (Sangita Arts, Panjim).
Speaking on the occasion the President of the temple Committee Shri Borkar lauded the efforts of the artistes behind the beautiful song on devi and thanked them for adding extra colours to the festivity. He also had a word of praise for the song writer Shri John Aguiar for writing two devotional songs on the deity during the pandemic period.
Committee Secretary Shri Dilip Gaitonde, Attorny Shri Manoj Hede and other members were present.
