Margao: Police today arrested two Romanian men who were trying to rob the money from State Bank of India ATM machine by installing the skimmers in the town of Margao, 35 kilometers away from here.
“Both the accused were found trying to install skimmer in the SBI ATM machine in Margao town by police who were on patrolling. They were chased by the police team when they tried to flee away,” a senior police from Fatorda police station, who have booked the case against duo foreigners.
Paul Daniel Vasil, 35 and Costansio Caboo, 40, were arrested by police during the wee hours today, he said adding both of them were found installing skimmers.
“When they realized that they were surrounded by police, they tried to run away in their car but were caught after a chase of five kilometers,” police said
