In view of Shigmotsav float parade in Panaji city on March 26, 2022 the following traffic Diversion/Parking will be effected from 01.00 pm of March 26, 2022.
No vehicle will be allowed to park on the route of float parade on March 26, 2022 from 12.00 pm i.e. Kala Academy Campal – Caculo Island – 18th June Road – Rua cunha rivara Road (Municipal Garden) – M. G. Road and Azad Maidan.
Traffic entering into Panaji city will follow the normal route.
Traffic coming from behind Old Secretariat on reaching near Match Corner will not be allowed to proceed to M. G. Road and will be diverted towards Abade de Faria statue to proceed via D. B. B. Marg.
Traffic coming from Altinho and desiring to proceed to KTC –Ponda –Margao, will be diverted via Corte – de – Oiteiro.
Traffic from Taleigao – Fire Service, desiring to proceed to Panaji Market – KTC Bus stand will be diverted at St. Inez Junction via Kala Academy to proceed through D. B. Marg.
Spectators attending to witness the float parade will be allowed parking at Football Ground, Campal and around Municipal Garden, Panaji.
All the By-lanes connecting 18th June Road will be closed for vehicular traffic.
The motorists are requested not to park any vehicles on the Float Route from 12.00 pm on March 26, 2022 and co-operate with Traffic Police.
