Third Mandovi Bridge to be open for traffic from Monday, February 4 onwards

Panaji: The Third Bridge over Mandovi river which was inaugurated on Sunday will be open for vehicular movement from Sunday, February 4 onwards.

Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation’s Vice Chairman Siddharth Kunkolienkar said that on the occasion of the spectacular inauguration, it was requested by many citizens that Atal Setu be kept open for all to visit for a few more days.

Keeping in mind their request, it has been decided that Atal Setu wil be kept open till Sunday February 3 only from Porvorim side, opposite Hotel Majestic.

The school delegations can visit the bridgeaccompanied by teachers between 10 am to 12 noon.

The General Public can visit the bridge  everyday from 5 pm to 7pm and Sunday Feb 3 from 10 am to 7pm.

Special KTC shuttle buses will ply to take the visitors to the cable stayed portion during scheduled timings.

The regular vehicular movement will commence from Monday, February 4 2019.
