Panaji: State government has constituted seven teams, covering 12 talukas, to conduct site inspections of the areas identified as private forest.
The three-members team comprises of inspector of settlements and land records, local range forest officer and Talathi.
The teams are directed to submit the site inspection report by January 6.
The Committee headed by Revenue Secretary has to submit the report finalizing the private forest has to government by January 10.
