Studiolo, talks on illustrated Christian art to begin from august 14

Panaji : The Museum of Christian Art has announced the launch of Studiolo, an exclusive series of illustrated talks on Christian art. The launch will be held through online mode.
Studiolo , an Italian term for a place of the study of art, will closely examine episodes from the Bible through the prism of art refracting its rich multitude of forms and styles. Presented in an inimitable style by art historian and curator Apurva Kulkarni.
The talks at Studiolo will reveal the power and beauty of Christian art through the ages. These treasures of most sacred art can be savoured online every week beginning from August 14
with ‘The Life of the Virgin’. ‘The Adoration of the Magi’ would be viewed on August 21, ‘The Sistine Chapel’ on August 28, ‘Theotokos’ on September 4, ‘William Blake’s Book of Job’ on September 11, ‘Rembrandt’s Bible’ on September 18, ‘Anastasis’ on September 25 and ‘Apocalypse’ on October 2, 2021.
The timings of the talks are 4 pm to 5.15 pm. The registration fee for adults is Rs 300 per session, and a special offer of Rs 2000 for 8 sessions.
There’s a discounted price for students, who can register at Rs 150 per session and a special offer for students is Rs 1000 for all
