Panaji: Chief minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday rubbished allegations that the social welfare schemes of state government has been stopped.
Sawant said that all the social welfare schemes are very much functional and those who are not getting the money may have issues at their side. “We have not discontinued funding to any scheme,” he said.
The chief minister, however, admitted that there is delay in payment under Dayanand Social Security Scheme by a month or two. The issues related to it would be solved soon, he added.
