Panaji: The CCTV footage of Siddiqui Suleman Khan escaping from police custody with the help of Constable Amit Naik reveals the entire story.
The footage shows how, at around 2:30 a.m. on Friday, Khan moved out of police custody after Amit opened the lock-up.
After opening the lock-up, Amit is seen putting the lock back while Khan sits on the bed and puts on his shoes.
After putting on his shoes, Khan is seen waiting for a few seconds before moving out of the station.
What is interesting is that Khan and the constable returned to the station within a few seconds before zooming away on a bike.
