Curchorem: As part of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan BJP State Executive Member Shri Rohan Gauns Dessai today organized a grand Seva program at Curchorem.
Under this initiative, free spectacles were distributed to 250 needy people from Curchorem constituency. The spectacles were provided after free eye check-up camps held in last week at Xeldem, Cacora and Curchorem.
On the same occasion, prizes for Ganesh Chaturthi Decoration Competition organized by Rohan Gauns Dessai were also distributed to the winners.
The event witnessed a large crowd, including senior citizens, mahila mandals, youth karyakartas and BJP office bearers.
Speaking on the occasion, Rohan Gauns Dessai said, “Seva is the core of BJP. Under the leadership of our Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji and CM Dr. Pramod Sawant ji, and party president shri Damu Naik we believe in Antyodaya – reaching the last person. This free spectacles distribution is a small step to bring clear vision and light to the lives of our people. Our Ganesh Competition was to preserve our Goan culture.
