Margao: Goa Forward Party (GFP), which was one of the petitioner before the HC, said that changing of election schedule by SEC amounts to over reaching SC order by the commission.
GFP President Vijai Sardesai said that SC has temporarily stayed HC direction for completion of pleadings.
“SEC couldn’t have over reached the SC order by announcing an altogether new schedule when SC is seized of the matter,” he said.
The SC has scheduled the matter for final hearing on Tuesday.
