Rise in Dengue cases in Goa, Municipalities, Panchayats, Health officials to work in sync

Panaji: Vishwajit Rane, who holds the portfolio of Urban Development Ministry and also of Health, has asked both his departments to work in sync at the backdrop of rising cases of Dengue in the State.

Rane tweeted “With dengue on the rise, I have given instructions to Director of Municipal Administration to issue a circular to COs of the Municipalities directing them to interact with respective Health Officers. A monitoring mechanism to control the spread of dengue is the need of the hour.”

“Paralelly, the Director of Health Services has been directed to inform all Health Officers to work in sync with Panchayats and Municipalities in order to take the necessary steps in public interest to curb the spread of Dengue in the state of Goa.”
