Panaji: Health Minister Shri Vishwajit Rane inaugurated First Aid First Responder Training for Community Members at Valpoi today.
The first aid training for community member was organized by GVK EMRI 108 Ambulance.
Speaking on the occasion Shri Rane complimented GVK EMRI for providing such training to community members and for their dedicated service in health sector and saving more than thousands of life during emergency for past so many years.
Shri Rane said such type of training is the need of the hour specially in rural areas where no medical facilities are available during emergency. He appealed to the people to avail the facilities provided by the Government which will benefit the people to a great extent in their area.
Government will make efforts to impart such first responder training for community members during emergency for one of the member in each family in the State, he added.
