Panaji: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday greeted Goa, Daman and Diu on Liberation Day, honouring the memory of all martyrs who fought for the freedom.
Goa was liberated from Portuguese rule in the year 1961.
Gandhi tweeted “My greetings to the people of Goa and Daman and Diu on Liberation Day. On this occasion, I honour the memory of all out martyrs and all those who fought valiantly for our freedom.”
