Panaji : Prifest People’s Awakening Festival 2021 begins from today on Miramar Beach. The festival’s idea is to form a collaboration which is inclusive, feminine energy oriented (but not only limited to women) and aims towards empowerment of small business owners. “All of them are doing exemplary work towards upholding practises which aim at sustainable living and are earth friendly. From living the traditions of grandmother’s wisdom, to modern day awareness of resources, we stand to support each other” Said Keneth Goes, Organiser.
The festival will go on for two days 3rd and 4th April and the venue is Miramar beach area. The festival will have a Pop up Market with 40 tables, and a few temporary canopies to showcase our local / International Vendors and including Members of DRAG (Disability Rights Association of Goa).
The timings are from 10AM to 10PM on Saturday and 10AM to 10PM on Sunday. People from all walks of life, irrespective of gender, age, religion and political beliefs are invited.
“This Festival of Lights will once again represent our beautiful state on the world map in terms of inclusiveness and being welcoming towards all cultures of the world. There would be forty collaborators who would participate and around ten to twelve artists / musicians to light up the show. To name a few: HiNoKi SkyMoon from Japan / GayaG from Israel / for our Panjim Citizens and will be a great fun evening of Art, Culture and learning.” informed Goes
