Panaji: Amidst hectic political activities, BJP High Command has summoned Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Dr Pramod Sawant to Delhi. He is expected to meet party’s national president Amit Shah tomorrow.
While name of Valpoi MLA Vishwajit Rane was rumoured to be front runner for the post of chief minister, if Manohar Parrikar steps down on the health ground, Sawant too has thrown hat in the ring.
Sources stated that the BJP high command is likely to chose between Rane and Sawant.
