PM Modi to visit Goa on December to inaugurate Ayurveda institute, conclude World Ayurveda Congress

Panaji: Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be in Goa on December 11 to participate in the concluding function of World Ayurveda Congress  and also opening of All India Institute of Ayurveda, chief minister Pramod Sawant said.

Sawant told reporters that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be visiting Goa on December 11 during which he would be participating in the inauguration of All India Institute of Ayurveda at Dhargal in Pernem taluka of North Goa.

Later, the Prime Minister will also be present for the concluding function of 9th World Ayurveda Congress in Panaji, which will be inaugurated on December 8, the chief minister said.

He stated that the Ayurveda scholars from 37 countries would be participating in the World Ayurveda Congress, which is the biggest event of the AYUSH. He said that the Out Patient Departments of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy would be functional during the World Ayurveda Congress event.
