Panaji: Moving towards being eco-friendly, the City Corporation has banned use of plastic =during the annual Gokula Ashtami fair starting from tomorrow.
The fair will be held along the promenade opposite City Municipal Market.
Addressing press conference, Mayor Uday Madkaikar said that corporation has allowed locals to put up 220 stalls for the fair.
Mayor said that the stall owners are strictly warned against use of plastic and its related items during the fair.
