Panaji: After two months of rigorous investigation and tracing evidence, the Pernem police has finally arrested two thieves from Kolhapur involved in bullet motorcycle theft.
The accused persons namely Sangram Sunil Hazare (31) and Niranjan Mohan Avte (27) both residents of Hatkanagle, Kolhapur were arrested by Pernem police after hectic efforts put into investigation using electronic mobile surveillance and analysis of CCTV footages for the past two months. Finally, the Pernem Police got a breakthrough and the investigation team headed to Hupri, Kolhapur and managed to nab the two accused.
The investigation was initiated after a complaint was lodged on 14/09/2020 by Manguesh Dangui informing that his Bullet motorcycle was stolen from parking at his house. The bullet motorcycle has also been recovered from the accused persons.
The team headed by PI Jivba Dalvi consisted of ASI Nhanu Thakur, constables Gurudas Mandrekar, Devidas Malkar, Anishkumar Poke and Devidas Shirodkar worked towards detection. Further investigation is in progress.
