Valpoi: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Monday blamed the opposition for attempting to creating confusion and division between him and Health Minister Vishwajit Rane.
Sawant was speaking during the inauguration of Paikul bridge in Sattari taluka on Monday in presence of Rane and Poriem MLA Dr Deviya Rane.
The chief minister said that Rane and he was working for the development of the state under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“There are attempts to create division and confusion. The opposition is trying to create confusion between us. There is no confusion. Rajyacho vikas ho ekuch dhyas,” Sawant said.
Speaking about various issues, Sawant said that there are issues of connectivity faced by some villages in this taluka. “There are some projects which cannot be taken up due to Union Forest Ministry rules,” he said adding that the state will work via media in which the NOC by State Forest department should be enough to take up the projects.
The chief minister lauded performance of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane pointing out that Health department is doing very well in the state. He stated that the latest step of bringing cancer treatment to the state by a tie up with Tata Memorial Hospital will help many.
