Panaji : Fomento Scholars Programme has now invited students of class 11th science stream of this academic year with minimum score of
85 % at class 10 who are interested to join engineering at SDSMT, USA after passing class 12th.

It is noteworthy that the Fomento Scholars Programme, started in 2014, selects and sends talented students who join std XI science stream in the higher secondary schools in Goa by guiding and helping them to join SDSMT, a reputed engineering college in the USA. Till date 27 boys and girls have joined this college
through Fomento Scholars Programme and those who have graduated, are either pursuing post-graduation or are employed in reputed companies like Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, Lyft, FreeportMcron, Cargilletc.
Fomento Group said that, It is expected that these students remain connected with Goa and help Goan students after they start earning. It’s an opportunity for the students in Goa to join this reputed college from the USA, learn there and return to Goa to help other aspiring students.
