Calangute police have arrested one Tanzanian National namely Miss. Eirena D/o Salvatory Lusingal, age 24 yrs , N/o Tanzania for illegally staying in Goa – India.
As per PI Jivba Dalvi while staff were performing patrolling at around 07:20 am in the morning in the jurisdiction they noticed one foreigner lady moving at Baga circle, Baga, Calangute – Goa.
She was inquired about her passport and visa during which she informed that she was not in possession of any passport , visa or any travel document.
Accordingly she was booked for offence under section 3(2)(a) and 6(a) of Passport Entry into India Rules, section 6(a) of Passport Act, section 7(3)(iii) of Foreigners Order act 1946 R/w Section 14 of Foreigners Act 1948.
The accused Tanzanian was placed under arrest and is currently lodged in police lock up.
The investigation into the crimes is being carried out by LPSI Sapna Gawas under the supervision of PI Jivba Dalvi.
