Panaji: Port Minister Michael Lobo has opposed the inclusion of Old Goa into Greater Panaji PDA claiming that we should preserve the area for posterity.
After meeting CM Pramod Sawant, Lobo said that the the former had called TCP Minister Chandrakant Kavlekar asking him not to include Old Goa into GPPDA.
Lobo said that Old Goa has religious significance besides having UNESCO protected heritage monuments, and should be preserved for posterity.
