No raise since 33 months, ACGL workers meet CM over salary issues

Panaji: The Automobile Corporation of Goa Limited ACGL) workers met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant over non increment of their salaries. The workers reckoned that they have been in forefront to negotiate and balance the demands of management and union. “The new management of ACGL company is not cooperating with us. the company  is doing well and earning profits, they should think about increasing our salaries,” said a worker.
 
The increment of salary is pending since 33 months and the workers now regularly meet the CM in hopes that he will resolve their issue. CM has assured these workers that an amicable solution will be worked out.
