Panaji : Department of Information and Publicity, Government of Goa has released a circular stating that Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, Government of India has decided that there will be no further activities toward printing of wall calenders, desktop calenders, diaries, festival greeting cards and similar materials by all ministries, departments, autonomous bodies and other organs of the Government till further order.

The Ministry has also directed to make efforts to adopt innovative means to use digital or online method for all the above activities. Hence the Goa government this year will not undertake printing of planners and calendars.
