Nine patients recover, Goa’s active tally goes down to 38

Panaji: Nine out of total 47 active COVID-19 positive cases that were detected in Goa have recovered, and they are shifted to facility quarantine.

Nine patients who were tested positive for COVID-19 infection has recovered at ESI hospital in Margao. They are shifted to facility quarantine where they will be kept under observation for more days.

Earlier during the day, the state had received two cases positive for COVID-19 infection, taking the tally to 47 active cases.

A senior health department officer said that a female and man who had arrived in different vehicles to Goa from Mumbai were tested positive for COVID-19 infection.

Goa which was declared as Green Zone on May 01 has till date reported 54 cases of patients tested positive for coronavirus. With the latest nine recoveries, total 16 have recovered leaving 38 patients who are currently being treated at ESI hospital.
