Valpoi: The Community Health Centre (CHC) in Valpoi is pleased to announce the opening of a new physiotherapy centre. This new addition is aimed at providing high-quality physiotherapy services to the residents of Valpoi and surrounding areas.
Dr. Vikas Naik, the in-charge of CHC Valpoi, expressed his enthusiasm about the new facility, stating, “The opening of the physiotherapy centre marks a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services in Valpoi. This initiative is started by our Hon. Health Minister Shri Vishwajit Rane, at CHC Valpoi as our community has long needed accessible physiotherapy services, and we are committed to providing comprehensive care that addresses both preventive and rehabilitative needs. This centre will not only improve the quality of life for our patients but also reduce the need for them to travel long distances for such treatments.”
Physiotherapist Dr. Anuja Gawas, who will be leading the new centre, shared her excitement and commitment to the community. “I am thrilled to be a part of this new initiative at CHC Valpoi. The new physiotherapy centre is now open to the public, offering a range of services including exercise therapy and electrotherapy. some common conditions treated at physiotherapy opd such as neurological, musculoskeletal, sports injuries and postoperative rehabilitation.
