A mega Haldi kumkum event was held at Mapusa Police Sub-Division office in the evening of 28/01/2023.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi the ladies police staff along with the wives of male police staff and lady citizens of Mapusa, Colvale and Anjuna area participated in the event.
SDPO Dalvi added that due to duty hours the lady staff cannot attend haldi kumkum functions of their colleague ladies and hence this function brought them all together. Also the wives of male police staff got a chance to interact with the other police staff and citizens on this occasion.
The event was followed by games, fashion show and dance competition and the winners were handsomely rewarded.
This celebration brought smiles on the face of the participants and specially the lady staff of Mapusa Police Sub-Division. The celebrations began at 04 pm and concluded till 06:30 pm.
