Panaji: Revolutionary Goans have demanded that Directorate of Health Services should provide the applications for various vacancies in Primary Health Centres or Mamlatdar offices saving the candidates to visit Goa Medical College at Bambolim to fetch them.
In a letter written to Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, Revolutionary Goans’ President Viresh Borkar has said that thousands of youth will be applying for the posts advertised by DHS in various newspapers.
“If we see the current situation of unemployed youth in Goa, it is obvious that thousands of candidates will be applying for the said posts whose application forms are available only at GMC,” he said.
“Efforts put up youth in getting the jobs is too much. So, we Revolutionary Goans request you to at least relieve them by making these application forms available in all the Primary Health Centres and Mamlatdar offices in all the talukas of Goa,” he said.
He has further said that provision should be made in recruitments so that the persons of Goan origin gets preference while filling the vacancies.
