Bambolim: Ravindra Chandru Naik, a 68-year-old resident of Parampai, Madkai, committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of Goa Medical College and Hospital where he was admitted.
Aggassaim Police said that the man jumped from the third floor of the GMCH building around 6.30 a.m. on Saturday.
“Prime facie the case looks like that of suicide but we are investigating the matter,” Aggassaim Police Inspector Uday Gawade said.
He said that the patient was admitted in the medicine ward of the hospital for last few days and suddenly walked out of his bed to jump from the third floor.
The victim was immediately shifted to the casualty of the same hospital where he was declared dead, the PI said.
