Vasco: AAP National President Arvind Kejriwal on Monday offered prayers to Lord Damodar in Vasco town in South Goa on the occasion of the annual festival.
Kejriwal, who arrived in Goa on Sunday, visited Vasco city on Monday to offer prayers to Lord Damodar, the local deity. The city is celebrating the annual religious festival dedicated to the deity.
Accompanied by Delhi’s Leader of Opposition Atishi, Goa AAP President Valmiki Naik and others, Kejriwal prayed for the well-being of the coastal state.
Talking to reporters, the former Delhi CM said that Shree Damodar will protect Goa from all evils, as He has done in the past.
Kejriwal said that during his visit, he would address a Townhall on E20 on August 25 at 3 pm, during which the crucial issue would be discussed. He said that E20 petrol is a major concern for people across the country.
