Margao: VVM’s G.R.Kare college of law, Margao declared winners and was awarded ‘BEST LEGAL AID CLINIC’ award at 2nd Prof. V.S.Mallar Memorial Legal Aid Competition. 2023.
The competition was conducted by Centre for Environmental Law Education Research & Advocacy (CEERA), NLSIU, Bengaluru National Law School of India University in collaboration with Department of Justice Ministry of Law and Justice.
The competition was participated by 50 colleges across India. It consisted of 5 competition viz Access to legal aid:Prison Clinic, speed mentoring sessions, Non Profit partnering, Lok Adalat and Street vendors engagement which was carried out over 4 months from July to October 23. The core committee for the competition was led by Dr, Shruti Nadkarni Assistant Professor & HoD , Faculty coordinator
