Verna: Police have arrested a man from Jharkhand for possessing narcotics worth Rs 2.10 lakh near Quntio de Valadaris Open Air Hall at Verna.
Police said that upon credible information a narcotics raid was conducted by Verna police station at near Quntio de valadaris open air Hall Verna, in the evening of 05.01.2021.
Narcotic substance such as Ganja weighing 2.kg 10grm all w/rs 2,10,000/– was seized from the possession of accused Sonu kumar naik s/o Budh ram naik age 38 yrs, R/o H. No. 22 sonarvado Verna Goa, native of Jharkhand. He has been arrested in the case . He came to Goa 20 years back. He is running business of snacks (Samosa) at IDC verna.
