Panaji: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte has said that the extension of JanataCurfew should have been done with proper planning and shops with essential commodities should have been kept open. In a series of tweets released here, Khaunte said “ The #janatacurfew was very well received in Goa with people voluntarily staying indoors! Extension is the need of the hour but there has to be proper planning to make sure people don’t suffer!”

“Goenkars are facing a lot of difficulty in procuring daily goods as confusion prevails from govt’s side!

@goacm should immediately define the essential commodities and let those shops be open!”

“With Gudi Padwa coming up, we should be able to buy the goods to do puja at home!”
