Canacona: Jana Sena chief Janardhan Bhandari on Monday visited Galjibag beach in Canacona and demanded that the contract of the Beach cleaning agency should be terminated.
Bhandari said that the situation at the beach is deplorable as the beach is not cleaned. He pointed out that the contractor has given forceful break to the workers, leaving the beach littered with garbage.
He questioned why the workers were given break during monsoon when the beach cleaning contract is for the entire year.
Bhandari has said that Jana Sena will handle the issue in their fashion, if contractor does not take back the workers.
