Panaji: Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar who was on India visit and usher in New Year on the beaches of Goa flew to Delhi this afternoon, an official said.
A senior police official said that Varadkar who was on a private visit to the country to visit his native village in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra left to Delhi on Wednesday afternoon from Dabolim Airport in Goa.
Varadkar spent his New Year eve in a starred resort in North Goa, he said adding that his entire tour was private and hence had not even availed police security for the same.
The Prime Minister flew in Air Asia flight 15776 which flew at 3.30 p.m. from Dabolim Airport to Delhi.
