Panaji: State Water Resources Department minister Vinod Palyekar has refused to comment on the statement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Mahadayi water dispute.
“What can I say on the statement by Prime Minister? I can’t say anything on the rights of the Prime Minister,” Palyekar said.
He refused to comment further on the issue.
Prime minister had told an election rally in Gadag in Karnataka that BJP is committed to resolve the issue with consultations.
Shah had made a similar statement in Belagavi in Karnataka wherein he said that Karnataka will get Mahadayi water within six months of electing BJP to power in the State
