The Union Government has told the Rajya Sabha that 1,471 women and 79 children have gone missing from Goa during the 2 year period from 2019 to 2021. Also, the Goa government has said that 829 women and children have gone missing from Goa in the last three and a half years and 695 of them have been found, while 134 are still missing. This is a serious incident. Cases of ‘Love Jihad’ are also increasing in Goa. Many incidents of conversion are happening in villages in Goa. Against this backdrop, there is a need for strict laws to curb incidents like ‘Love Jihad’ and prevent conversions. For this purpose we have organised, ‘Hindu Jan Sangarsh Rally. The Rally will start from Azad Maidan, Panaji at 4 pm on 12th August and it will proceed through M.G. Road, Don Bosco Circle, Old Education Department blgd., Café Aaram and finally will culminate at Azad Maidan, Panaji. An appeal is being made through ‘Hindu Rashtra-Jagruti Andolan’ that all Hindus take part in this rally.
