Panaji: Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte after co-chairing the Tourism Promotion Board meeting in Panaji has specifically targeted the structures violating the CRZ rules.
He was responding to a question about news from Canacona where CRZ rules are violated outrightly.
This is what Khaunte warned “The encroachments are going on in the Beach belt. The coastline is eroding and at the same time, these encroachments take place.”
“We need to ensure that the beaches are available for people. We will ensure that strict action would be taken on the encroachment on the beaches.”
